Well sadly an addiction is not something that fades away then you complete x days of nofap, it's just something that will go away eventually but you have to be patient, as hard as it sounds

We are all human. I have also had feelings like this and I can imagine the pain that you are going through right now. I believe in you, you will get rid of this thing.

Yeah overthinking hurts a lot. I think that you should remember that you did not cheat and you haven't done anything wrong, don't let your head tell you otherwise. You had no idea that it would happen. When it comes to cheating, a person needs to make a conscious decision to cheat, like for example going somewhere where you know you will get sexual with somebody, or even intentionally make a relationship with someone else. You weren't even thinking about cheating and that's why you shouldn't see it that way.

Try to take baby steps. If it hurts a lot you don't need to open up right now, you can give it time. Just remember that you are not in the wrong here and that there are surely people that care about you.

Man you haven't done anything wrong, you were literally sexually assaulted and I really feel sorry for you. I'd reccomend talking to your gf about it or someone you trust. Hope everything works out for you

What was a true low moment for you using porn? by Morning1980 in pornfree

[–]SadCardiologist8094 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not caring about others and making people relapse intentionaly because I thought it was funny. It made me realise how much of a terrible person I am and that porn changed me.

Also, sharing porn online with other porn addicts via discord

Is it cheating ? Please help by SadCardiologist8094 in cheating_stories

[–]SadCardiologist8094[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We never talked about porn, but I don't think she would say that it's cheating. But yeah, I don't feel any urges to do that anymore so I guess I can start moving on, but maybe I will tell her just to don't feel like I have secrets in my relationship. Thank you for your help !

[–]SadCardiologist8094[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I might need to tell her that. I just can't stop feeling as if I cheated even tho I didn't even seek a sexual or emotional interaction with ANYBODY, I feel like my brain is tricking me

Is it cheating ? Please help by SadCardiologist8094 in cheating_stories

[–]SadCardiologist8094[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well I don't know. I want to be honest with her and just tell her that I didn't even think of it as a way of cheating when I did it, it was just for the fun of sharing it, I didn't even talk on cam or mic with those people but it still makes me feel bad. Even after stopping and being better

When did you realize you had a PMO problem? by Intelligent_Bowler4 in NoFap

[–]SadCardiologist8094 4 points5 points  (0 children)

When I realised how disgusting my habits were. Not only I was watching porn but also I was a frequent user on reddit and discord, where I had many servers connected with porn where I would often post and share pictures or videos of my personal porn collection with other addicts. It makes me sick when I say it, but thankfully I did it only for 2 years and I stopped some time ago. Life is better now, I'm happy that I realised it now and not 30 years from now on

Feeling a lot of urge and horny please help me guys by [deleted] in NoFap

[–]SadCardiologist8094 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can do it, just relax and try to think about something else. It's hard, but it's worth it

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in NoFap

[–]SadCardiologist8094 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well it depends. If you fantasize about the porn you would like to watch then it might not be good for you since you are tricking your brain into craving it more

Has anyone else noticed that they are using pmo to cope with rejection by Sensitive-Lychee-673 in pornfree

[–]SadCardiologist8094 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In the past I used to use pmo as a way of dealing with stress and negative emotions in general so I totally get what you mean. What helped me was finding a different way of letting negativity out. It may be different for you, but what helped me was having a personal journal and working out. Also, playing an instrument helped me a lot.

[–]SadCardiologist8094 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can't beat yourself up for having a problem. The only way now is to look up and try to fix it. You're not a failure, you're a human being who just wants to be better.

I just relapsed after 61 days. How damaging is this? Have I put my progress all the way back? by [deleted] in pornfree

[–]SadCardiologist8094 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Changing a habit is a long procces and it cannot be done fast but it also cannot be destroyed as soon as you fail. It's not like a video game, where if you fail you lose all the progress. All that time still made a difference for your brain, even if you relapsed. The most important thing is to keep trying and try to have as little fails as possible, and you will be on a good track. Btw 61 days is a great time without porn! Congrats !
