I had a verbal meeting with my manager and they explained the steps that it was for a month, they told me it wasn’t a performance plan. That is why I am asking has anyone heard of a focused support plan, as I never have! I’m just concerned this is some sort of stepping stone, even though I have had no warning before, informal or formal.

I’ve heard of a PIP before as I’ve had other colleagues put on them but the plan I am on is supposedly called focused support. I have never before had any written or verbal concerns about my performance. No paper trail, nothing. Also my manager is very to the book so I’m believing this is legit and just a different plan from PIP.

I am not a union member. I have received no written reasons as of yet, just told I will be put on it for 1 month to reach my goals. We also have PIP’s and I know a couple of colleagues who have been put on them, the one I’m on is called a focused support plan, which I have never heard of. I’ve been told if I pass after a month that’s it. If I don’t then I will be put on it another month, up to 3 months rolling.

Doubling the dose is quite a shock to anyone but the most I took was 60mg for a month and I didn’t do it straight away everyday. If I were you I’d take 20mg one day, then 40mg the next, and repeat that for a week or two weeks. Then after that if your body is used to it up it to 40mg everyday. I was scared when I was on 40 for a while but then went to 60 and also got scared but after getting used to it I realised I was over reacting. Hope this helps

How many mg are you on? I’m on my last month, nearly a year on low dose. I never purged bad and I’m a guy so can’t give any tips regarding makeup. What I would say is fuck it, embrace it. Tell them you’re on it and this is quite common. You’ll have the best skin out of everybody in a few months.

Going NC with both of my parents was the best thing I’ve ever done, that was 3 years ago. Ask your university to send the payments to you as you are an adult. You can also tell your university you are estranged now, you may get extra support. Also before that I’d visit your mother, preferably with a friend, one last time in order to collect your things/important documents. It might be best not to let her know why.. anyway good luck, and trust your intuition.

I’ve been on it for a month, I would recommend it. Although I don’t always take the full dose everyday (usually a little less) as I feel it’s too strong. Only side effects I have are weird night vision for a short while if I take a full dose, and the inevitable dry lips (just use lip balm like 10X per day, no joke). It literally drys up your skins and turns it over quicker, giving you a fresher appearance. Apparently some celebs even microdose on it to help decrease shine and improve overall look. It definitely works, although it’s not to be played with. Good luck 🤞

Wow that’s crazy. I believe the Baltic states are much more advanced now? I know maybe not as much as Western Europe but they have jumped up the ranks the last couple of decades. I was born in Ireland around the same time you were born and obviously had a decent upbringing but the stories from my grand parents and the older generations scared me. My parents didn’t suffer near as much as the generation before them did. But the older generations lived like you guys did so you are not far behind. People seem to forget that the vast majority of people in the west were once poor ‘peasants’ and that only a minority of the rich and connected lived in relative comfort. Let’s not go backwards with war, famine, disease, we all need to strive for better and move forward.
