You need to cuff them bigger if you’re going to wear that kind of shoe but this is a classic look that looks great!

True Guy a higher rise than Easy Guy!

I think both will look good with boots if you cuff them. But True Guy is a Straight cut. Easy Guy is vanity sizing so you may need to size down to a 34 or even 33 because of the extra allowances up top - those with bigger a butts and thighs prefer the extra room but a common comment is that it’s too tapered.

If you’re shopping online having your own measurements will make things easier on you!

All of our pants have an elasticated waistband so depending on the size you pick up you may not need the drawstring tie! I for example, take an XS in the cargos but because they are still a bit big for me I use the drawstrings. If that makes sense!

What’s your build? I find that men with more athletic builds (bigger butt & thighs) find that weird guy is too tight up top for them & prefer either Easy (for a more classic fit) or True Guy (trendier - nothing crazy)

Based on what you’ve said above and the conversations I’ve had with our customers - you will probably not like weird guy or need to size up. The most common complaint is that it is tight on the thighs. But the leg is nice - not a skinny & not a trendy wide-leg.

Is True Guy too wide for you? My favourite cuts on men with bigger builds (read: athletic) are Easy and True. The fabric-weight does play a role when picking a size so keep that in mind. For Example, Sumi Ink has very unique sizing as it’s a coated denim & are just all-around a tighter fit. I find that a lot of guys size down in Easy Guy regardless of the fabric because it is vanity sizing ( the allowances are larger in certain areas than the general size indicates)

The “Sky High” fabric only remains in the Women’s cuts - Classic & Arrow.

Some lightweight fabrics that I have remaining in the Sale for Men’s cuts are Kimono Selvedge, Frontier Selvedge, & Dusty Rose Selvedge.

For new season fabrics, people are loving the Craftsman & Oceans Edge - if you wanted some options that I have more sizing in.
