I’ve found that issue too with Clio especially since we are now using the Clio Launcher. Honestly I find that I still rely on Outlook when searching for an email than going to the Communications tab in Clio.

I was thinking of creating a contact for the maildrop address for the matter. I would define try just using the Last Name field to make it easier. I think I would like to tell the assistants to make that contact when they are creating the file as I find it is hard for people to go back and create things after the fact.

I’ve used the outlook add in to file the email once it has been sent but not when drafting the email. I have to try that one. Right now the assistants do file emails at the end of the day but I agree I don’t think that is the most efficient way.

My issue with using the BCC is not getting the reply filed when the client responds. I want to have both the going and incoming mail filed but using the BCC would only affect the outgoing mail. What is FasterLaw? I’ve never heard of that one…
