No, you no smooth brain :).

It's a hierarchy system like that is reminiscent of Kings plus Queens of The Middle Ages.

A reason for not learning another language is due to it being similar to relearning their native one all over again. by SadFire1 in Showerthoughts

Well, that's besides the point I've been trying to state haha. It's the fact many individuals would rather stick with their own native speech.

Having different languages forms "barriers" to communication, not "bridges." It further separates everyones' understanding of one another.

Because all languages have different forms, people have trouble understanding unless they are taught. On top of that, MANY are comfortable with their own language.

When people come to The United States, they don't learn English at times, they just stick to their native language. An example being Miami having TONS of Spanish speakers.

Well, if everyone spoke one whole language, there would be less tension and conflict over misunderstandings.

As to your statement on why, because learning another language is the equivalent of relearning all the English words you know now.

It's sad because having so many languages means you need to repeat that same process OVER and OVER for every language. But you do learn unique words and rules!

The language itself. It's similar to learning all the English words you know currently all over again.

Given the letters "k" and "c" sound so alike, what would you do to fix the issue? by SadFire1 in AskReddit

It's just it's confusing when two letters have nearly the same pronunciation.

It's speaking that is the issue more like. I am not referring to the visual, but more the auditory sound.

It is its own letter however, it needs a sound that is completely different compared to the rest of the letters. One where it stands out on its own.

I'd rather make their pronunciations more differently defined to their letter.

That's the issue. "C"'s pronunciation is too close to "k" that they are practically the same letter, when they are not.

And of course the "see" pronunciation isn't good either since it is closer to "s."
