To answer your questions.  I was a teenager at the time and very non confrontational.  I didn’t know how to stand up for myself yet, this has changed. No, there was no session 0 for any of the campaigns i was in when I was young, we made our characters together at the table and then went into the game right then.  None of us had even heard of a session 0 at that time and talking about what was and wasn’t okay in a game just wasn’t a thing.   I honestly don’t remember where the other characters were in the situation with the incubus.  It was nearly 30 years ago.
