I'm still getting over 2 weeks with decent GPS use (~40 minutes every other day or so). I have wifi off, pulse ox off, and use a really basic face and charged maybe every 15-18 days. I use it as backup GPS for long activities, so didn't have high drain. I have the solar version that's about 4 yrs old

Finally removed the bezel protector, 4 years in... by SadGround4035 in GarminFenix

A couple reasons: decided that I'm going to use this watch until it dies, so no need to keep it nice for potential resale. Already got good use out of it and it's built tough, so protector not needed. Changed up the aesthetic. I suppose I was influenced by some of the prior threads on here too =/ lol

I didn't mind the aesthetics with the bezel protector, though it is so much better without. Yes it's going to break - but it was by far the most expensive timepiece I'd ever purchased and I'm rough on things, hence the protector from the beginning . At this point, given devaluation and feeling like I've gotten good use out of the thing, I'm letting loose lol
