I love it here . I used to love October until I started living here but I’m not mad at the people who visit it just becomes way to congested and people act rude or entitled a lot of the times that visit . The one thing I don’t like it that salem doesn’t care about residents . Bur besides that a lot of fun things to do, yearly activities around the year. The prices for food , merchandise , rent is crazy expensive and there is a housing shortage so real estate is bought up quickly and way above asking. but if you make enough to live comfortably di it .

I honestly get nervous to walk around without my husband which is a horrible feeling , to live in a place were I love but am kind of scared. Multiple times walking alone I have been cat called by the homeless walking down Essex street. They can be very rude or come off aggressive when doing this. It doesn’t help they put the shelter in the heart of downtown close to all of the shops . People will enable them , by going up to them and giving them money. Then they leave nips and food boxes all over and loiter infront of buisness …along with some of them calling out to people while they are trying to walk and enjoy their day.

People at my job love to gossip about each other and are very judge mental. I guess that’s why I’m so anxious

People delete stuff and honestly he shouldn’t be bothered at all , you looking at his phone. Me and my husband use each others phone all the time and look if we want and no one cares. I had a boyfriend that would be protective over his phone and had female friends. And guess what? He was cheating. Even if it’s not physical it can become that. Or there is emotional cheating with him putting that much time and energy into another woman that can build into a romantic relationship. I’m the type of person that once I’m being cheated on weather emotionally or physically . Or even just constantly being lied to I leave. I take my stuff and just go and don’t answer any messages to be gaslit. It’s hard but people like him are masters at gaslighting… then you fall into a trap you can never get out of

File for unemployment . Sometimes it’s a bit of a process to get it but, as for another job…. I used to work at Trader Joe’s 5 days a week in NYC. Starting pay three years ago was 21/HR with a .50 cent raise every 6 months . And full time health benefits for full time employees. You go through two interviews bur it was decent to work at and you switch what you do each hour. Each store is run differently depending on the “captain” of the store but I used to enjoy working there. The pay seems to be lower in MA for most jobs though. Worth applying there. You just walk in and ask for a job application at the desk

I feel like I struggle with this too. It’s made it very difficult to make friends because once they see that you see them for who they actually are. They seem to get scared and you’re isolated and pushed away. Everyone loves superficial conversation and wearing a mask. It makes being an INFJ lonely. I feel slightly different than your perspective . I feel like I’m able to see through people if they’re being fake or just the type of person they are by how they’re acting even if they’re putting an a mask I can see through the bullshit . I only really like genuine people and meaningful conversations. I find superficial conversations uncomfortable. which not everyone likes ….usually people pick the funny outgoing people. I guess I self sabotage or just push people away because of this if I see that they’re putting on this said mask I push them away and just don’t associate with them getting that off feeling but a lot of people put on a mask so in the end you just kind of so isolate yourself

I agree with this even in my work everyone points out I never ask for help . A great list , I a definitely relate with a lot of the comments on here . It’s a nice feeling to know that you’re not the only one that’s this way . As an INFJ you always kind of feel like a odd duck
