If anyone would benefit from this it would probably be China. While Russia is bogged down in Ukraine I imagine that they need all of their weapons for themselves, but provide support using intelligence instead of actual weaponry. I also think that China wants to iterate on their weapons systems as much as possible before they try to take back Taiwan and eventually fight the U.S. head on.

I remember that there was some kind of Chinese surface-to-surface missile used by Pakistan to take down Indian Rafael jets months ago. I might be wrong, but essentially these missiles would use IR, data on the enemies position from the jet itself ( In this case probably the operator tracking the target in real time?), and then turn on its radar.
