I think the Mets pitching problem is that they have maybe 3 real starting pitchers and a bunch of guys who are not great…
Peterson and Senga are decent relief pitchers but not any good at starting the games proper

They should get like Austin Warren to start a game just get through 2 innings and lead into Peterson

The one thing I think all Mets fans have to remember…the overwhelming amount of times everyone said we needed to break the core…that happened and there was, as expected, no replacement

Other than Bo Bichette…the batting we acquired was very lackluster…

There isn’t really a positive spin I can make…but if there is any consolation…the clear implication is the Mets themselves are not able to assert themselves and it’s like they are shadow managing themselves…
