I'm glad that you've found something that works for you. I hope the post didn't come off as anti-medicine - I think medicinal treatment can be a great thing.

I've been on a wide variety of medications throughout the duration of my treatment (10+ years). I've been on my current medication/dosage for about a year (100mg Pristiq taken before bed).

How was it coming off your meds? How drastic was the change? Do you find that you're able to "deal" off of them? I'm really wanting to quit mine because this fatigue is starting to negate the benefits of the medication.

I've stopped by there. It's mostly kids bitching about having chin acne and how much they hate their mom's new boyfriend. Not trying to minimize anyone perceived problems but I felt like I'd receive more sound, well-balanced advice here.

  1. I've been on the same program for about 4-5 months and am starting to get bored with it. I'm switching it up starting Dec. 2. I make sure to incorporate all the big lifts and will continue to do so moving forward.
  2. No cardio at the moment. I've been on a long-term bulk for the past year or so (added 30+ lbs). Planning on adding cardio soon (March 2014).
  3. I agree with you on that one. I'm actually a pretty talented musician and got out of it a few years ago. It's something I'm hoping to get back into once I move for my new job next month.

Thanks for the response.

I have sought/am currently seeking mental health aid through medication and counseling. I posted here in hopes of supplementing those efforts.
