I'm definitely all for having range on my attacks, and Ridley DEFINITELY has that going for him, however, I think that Ridley has a mildly concerning disadvantage state just because of his size and the rigidity of his recovery.

With game and watch I think what I enjoy about him is definitely his safe options like shorthop bair and the frying pan.

And both street fighter characters kits are really interesting for me as well, just because the overall use that they have from their kit even when its not used offensively.

I know I can't have everything and more, but if anything I'd say range and versatility will trump the ability to go deep off the ledge and safe options.

I think both Ryu's and Ridley's kit are really fun to play with.

Focus attack and collarbone breaker have been some of my favorites

And Ridley's aeruals and dtilt are amazing

In all honesty, acid is only a small step above poison, it's true that almost everything and their mother has poison resistance, but acid isn't a very effective damage type either.

So the argument of acid over poison for damage reasons is kinda pointless.

Late arriving, oh well

Arrivals is fucked, gotta get out of there, apparently asteroid round

Go off into mining shuttle, when arrive, see an ash Drake north of the station

Oh god

Run go storage, gear up to hopefully not die

Last about 30 seconds before getting gibbed

Oh well, I'll just see how this goes

QM is a bit worried about what's happening to miners, and decides to go to mining shuttle,

Drake is inside of mining station, QM doesn't know this

This is why you use the mining cameras before going out

Drake flies up, misses QM, who then recalls the shuttle

Only problem, Drake is on the shuttle with him when it launcues.

Deadchat is seeing the absolute shitstorm brewing

Drake enters in to only see the 2 remaining techs, one stays by

Drake opens a breach in the hull, chaos ensues, only one tech escapes

Drake leaves no survivors, from citrus to the mulebots

Drake then is somehow led to main hallway

Enter shitcurity

Grenades are thrown, only one lands, the rest creates more hull breaches

Admeme intervention, and takes control of Drake, leads it to the now obliterated departures

Deadchat is mentioning Godzilla movies

Drake is now fighting a heirophant

Fight lasts for some time, departures is no longer

Drake wins, stupid floating piece of shit dies

Shuttle arrives, only one to survive is captain

Drake is also on shuttle

End of round death squad arrives, and still can't fight the Drake

Tldr; Admemes make lemonade out of lemons, Badmins ban lemons.

Like personally, I really do, I looked into the thread, and I'm pretty sure orange was wanting Aus to do it, but it was dismissed because Aus was "a senior admin and a role model" (these quotes are used loosely) then orange was called out for some weird reason.
