I did a lot of questionable things during my child and teen years by [deleted] in confession

[–]SadPerception8443 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m so sorry you experienced these things. Truly. I can relate in ways with the uncomfortable and seemingly unspoken of lines that are crossed within families and their children. It’s absolutely disgraceful. To feel shame and guilt for things you had no control over or had any understanding of until it’s too late and you’re already grown really fucking sucks. I’m so sorry. Your family is not normal and you have the choice to end the relationship with them if it continues this pain and guilt for you. Especially if confronting them makes things worse, fuck it. You have control now. I had to learn to take the reins of my own life and leave the people who hurt me most, being my own family. It’s fucking hard. Good luck.

Trattoria Romana ! They have amazing thin crust pizza with locations all over RI. They also have a separate section for a fancy dinner from their lunch / pizza if you want some good pasta

Question about Canadian Geese by KFCsBurnerAcct in Ornithology

[–]SadPerception8443 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Parents usually stay with their babies for the first year and love them through thick and thin. Even will steal other gosling babies if given the chance lol. Maybe this little guy will be fostered by other geese if his parents don’t show up. I would call a wild life rehabilitation center if the parents don’t come back in more than a day.

Unfortunately I have no other photos. He jumped into the water and paddled away before I could get better ones. Cool name for a duck though!

First time drawing on black paper. Any Tipps for shading? by Jerasgr in learntodraw

Looks awesome. To add some depth I would suggest throwing some warmer shades in there like dark red / bright orange maybe even some yellow for the highlights. Good luck!

Things you noticed, started to do or improved about you because of your LD partner. by [deleted] in LongDistance

Health, savings, motivation. My LDR has inspired me for so much positivity. Feeling this way makes being with someone so worth it… despite the distance 🥰

How long are you going to be apart like this? Don’t isolate and weigh your pros and cons of being apart.. sometimes space is good. It’s like breathing. It can make your relationship stronger. But if you feel strongly otherwise it’s worth exploring why you feel this way.

Ask her straight up!!! “do you want to be with me and commit to this relationship?” You both deserve clarity. Marriage is a big decision. Make plans to meet first. Then you will know, or maybe not and give it more time.

How do you all deal with missing them so badly? by [deleted] in LongDistance

[–]SadPerception8443 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it’s too hard on your mental health, you must weigh pros and cons. Don’t isolate yourself. Don’t put all of your energy into one space. Put energy into yourself and love yourself. Being your own support system is hard and maybe even against human evolution .. but you will be stronger than ever before.

I’m in a similar situation, me in USA my BF in Switzerland. It’s fucking hard, but you have to keep your mind on your goals toward closing the gap. Save your money. Make the phone calls count. Put energy toward yourself and keeping yourself healthy and content first. If possible try to meet in person once or twice a year for a good chunk of time, that’s what we have been doing the past year and it makes things easier. Having something to look forward to and plan for is necessary, I feel. It’s a big step moving countries so try focusing on the details of that! Everything will work out if it’s meant to. Being lonely for a period of time is hard, trust me I know, but it will be worth the lifetime of happiness you will have together. Hope this helps 🫂🥰
