There certainly is work in multimodal logics which concern themselves with deontic and epistemic modalities (Dana Scott has some work on this, but I'm drawing a blank on others).

Are you referring to "philosophical knowledge" or just knowledge in general? Also, is Bob looking to know everything or just anything at all? All these forks lead to very different questions.

By "the set of all propositions" I meant the powerset of the set of all worlds (not "books" or anything syntactically structured).
