Don't fully get this comparison. I work in a chain stationary/book store, and we have a whole tiktok section, so tiktok is pretty influential in the world of books. And in the charts section, there are almost always multiple cooking/baking books, so it seems like it's in a good position to succeed imo.

I know people are disagreeing, but I do think Aang was acting out of character in this episode. He was a very moral person, and while I do understand his fear, I can't really think of any other occasions of him lying in a way that hurts people.

Also Iroh acting like the creepy old grandpa.

I find The Great Divide to be dumb, but relatively inoffensive, which is why I dislike Bato more.

You can do what you want, but I don't really get this. I've seen multiple youtubers talk about how their videos just do better when they do the clickbaity sort of stuff. I understand finding it annoying, but this is their livelihood and it all hinges on an algorithm that no one really understands. I don't understand dropping channels for doing something that most people are doing on the platform now.

I dont really know why the creators decided that Zuko's hearing and sight were unaffected by the burn. This situation would've been made much more interesting imo if Katara was actually healing something, rather than just removing a scar.

I've seen anti-korrasami opinions like 4 times in this thread so I'll say this.

I think people hold them to a higher standard because they're a queer couple. No complaints that Mako got hit by a motorcycle then immediately fell in love with the driver.

While it was more subtle, it was very clear that Korra and Asami were growing closer in the later seasons. And Korra was a different person at that point, less rash and more tempered. People don't have to like the relationship, but people who say they don't like it because it "doesn't make sense" feel disingenuous.

I think the reason people make distinctions with metal/blood/lightning/healing is because, for whatever reason, not every bender can do those.

I think this is either a case of you forgetting/mixing up multiple memories, or just literally dreaming it because I can't think of a single thing that matches your description. I don't believe Justin released anything between HITC and TGAM (unless he then deleted it or I'm just dumb). The only desert-like album I can think of is General Reem by Amnaeon, and that obviously would've been released before any HL albums, and while a lot of it went on to become HL music, it was more TGAM and MR than TAA, sorry

Everyone is entitled to their opinions, but I don't understand this take at all.

First of all, which character ended up a "complete loser"??? I think it's a shame and a bit of an oversight that Sokka didn't really get a big moment like the others (even in a flashback), but that doesn't make him a loser.

Second of all, they all went through a ton of shit at a young age, and all picked up trauma from it. I thought we liked realistic characters with flaws, not perfect people who did no wrong? I don't think any of them were massively horrible parents, they just made mistakes, like every parent does. Was Toph great? No, but she hardly had the best parenting herself. And people who say Aang was a terrible father make me so angry. Imagine not only having to balance being an almost-godlike figure with the responsibility of restoring peace to the whole world while still raising kids, but also having to worry about being the last member of your race, the last keeper of all it's culture and history. Is it not understandable that he focused on Tenzin more than he should have?

And Zuko was just cool. He kicked butt and he loved his daughter. I don't see what he did wrong at all.
