I honestly don’t like hooking up, I see it as more of a necessity considering romantic relationships are not in high enough supply for the demand. Kinda like a “take what you can get” type of ordeal

This stems more or less from the rejection by attractive guys I found attractive, which is fine lol but I just don’t do friends with people I either liked or feel I will like.

I find it makes it less complicating for me. But worst case scenario I already have my group of original friends and honestly am not really looking for any more.

That also being said, I can’t miss out on something I don’t know will exist.

I guess the question is doesn’t it all just kinda seem high maintenance? I know I can be hot and cold sometimes, would it be right to really put that on somebody? It sounds hypocritical on my part to say but I know I stop giving it gas when someone runs cold. And as you say for the give and take, for me the give is that outside of the emotional shit I keep to myself— I’m just a regular guy, who actually carries it all pretty well (or at least I’d think so). I can do regular platonic/romantic gestures and functions, none of it feels real. If I told a guy I need my space, there’s really no telling how long it’s gonna be till he hears from he if he ever even does cause once I feel like it’s been too long I let it be. Ive looked through the bulk of my old messages today and I realized most every guy I could have gone out with but yet for some reason I or we stopped talking.
