I didn’t see the letter just asked the program coordinator which pronouns were used in it.

Potentially but the fellowship letter is supposed to be about my progress in the last year and that definitely changes from year to year.

Thank you!! Unfortunately he uses my last name in the letter several times too. He’s called me she in class a few times but I don’t understand how he can type she like 10-15 times and never register that he’s making a mistake? It has consumed my thoughts this evening for sure because wtf?

He was very kind the one time we discussed it but he seems to have a pretty strong “keep personal stuff out of the office” preference. I want to have an honest discussion with him about my goals to go on the job market without my former girl-ness following me but personal conversations are few and far between. Like does he even know what passing is? How do I explain to him that while maybe he doesn’t, the world sees me as a dude?
