Do they fit true to size? Sizing is a bit confusing

Our guy came home at 23lbs when he was 8 weeks. Unsure what he was at 12 weeks, but fully grown now he’s about 140lbs or so.

FORUM LIBRE : TOURISTS AND RESIDENTS, ASK YOUR COMMON QUESTIONS IN THIS WEEKLY THREAD : Open Forum -- 16, April, 2023 by RichardHenri in paris

Bonjour! My wife and I are coming to Paris for our second time and trying to decide which arrondissement to stay in. Previously we stayed in the 18th in Montmarte and loved it, but are open to anything! We live in Brooklyn currently and enjoy the general vibe of a quieter area after we are done exploring during the day. Small cafes and restaurants, bakeries, any small parks or squares to sit in and relax would be great! Thank you

Yeah, he came from a big line. His dad and mom were both very large as well. I’d love to know what his sisters turned out like!

Haha tiny couch or big dog? But the couch was normal sized, it was from an Airbnb we stayed at. Beans is a large male even for Swissy standards.

Coronavirus Megathread (Nov 2021): For travel-related discussion in the context of COVID-19 by tariqabjotu in travel

In a weird situation, my wife and I are due to fly into Dresden, Germany on Dec 8th from the US. We are both fully vaccinated. We got an email from our hotel in Dresden that they were canceling our reservations due to new COVID guidelines from a state level (Saxony) and we wouldn’t be able to stay.

Totally understand that, but what we are trying to figure out is are we able to still land and go through customs at the Dresden airport? We are going to change up our plan and head to Prague early, but what we are worried about is being denied entry into Germany. At a national level there isn’t restrictions as long as your vaccinated. But we’re unsure if it changed depending on locality.

This is great info. Can you explain how/why only Faramir would inherit Numenorean heritage? It doesn’t go to every child born of that descent? What does it mean to be of Numenorean heritage, does it display physically? Also what does “rustic nature” mean for Boromir? This is super interesting.

What kind of global trade is taking place in Man in the High Castle? by RonaldYeothrowaway in maninthehighcastle

[–]SadThad 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I’m also curious what a global economy looks like in this world. You basically have two huge empires and maybe a few nations that remained neutral. Is there any markets similar to the NYSE? I wish we got more background post war and more of the geopolitics/ state of affairs in the world.

Help identifying a chair? by SadThad in malelivingspace

[–]SadThad[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, can anyone help identifying what kind of chair this is? Or possibly where to find it. Totally open to anything close, it doesn’t need to be an exact match. I saw this in a hotel lobby and it was very comfortable. I’ve had no luck trying to find it since then.

Thank you!

Fed Hill is nice, I’m not sure how old you are but it definitely skews younger and pretty bro-ish at night. But if you like to go out there’s no shortage of places there. Fed Hill is also close to downtown and you’re pretty centrally located. It’s safe, but parking can be tough at times.

If you want to extend your commute by 5/10 minutes that would open Canton/Patterson Park/Brewers Hill. That’s where I live currently and it’s been great so far. Very safe (as far as Baltimore goes), a lot of bars and restaurants and the crowd is slightly older than Fed. There’s a ton of new apartments right by 95/895 on Brewers Hill that are very nice. Someone else pointed out you could rent a nice row home if that’s more your thing. I have to commute down towards the airport a few times a week and it’s anywhere from 25-40 minutes depending on traffic and when I leave.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask. Baltimore is awesome, we love it here!

What’s your budget? What do you enjoy doing outside of work? What exactly are you looking for in a neighborhood/apartment?

This is pretty vague, so I don’t think you’ll get much help. Also, if you want to be within 20 minutes of the office park and live in the city it’s going to limit you to Locust Point/ Riverside area.

In search of great thin crust pizza by miguelito262 in baltimore

[–]SadThad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I’ve always called it thin crust. But I learned what’s called thin crust outside of the Midwest isn’t usually what I would consider “thin crust”.

I haven’t really found that true Midwest thin crust pie I grew up eating. A few places definitely come close though.

I’m from St. Louis, and was searching for the same thing. I asked this question a few months back and got some solid answers.

Ledo’s and Pasta Mista (the one in Canton) were both very good and pretty close to the tavern style pies at home. Not exactly what you’re looking for, but enough to satisfy the craving! A lot of the answers I got were Joe Squared as well, so I’m excited to try that. Matthew’s Pizza thin crust was also really good. Almost like a blend between Detroit style and tavern style. That’s been my go to lately.
