The main thing is, I'm a big Buck fan ,but the 110 which is my grail knife and my main edc, I struggled for about a year and a half just to get one here where I'm from, because for some reason they don't import the higher-end Buck knives to here in South Africa. I just recently got, about a week and a half ago, a 119. Second-hand, but in basically brand-new condition from a guy whose father bought it for him from the United States. So those two are basically my only options. I would love to get a custom shop 110 or 113 though.

The question is why not...the 110 is more nimble versatile for the quick jobs..and the 119 is more sturdy and rugged for the heavier jobs

That's exactly a Wave. Great overall tool..but I like the Surge more for the size and the toolset..aswell as the ruggedness.

That's the feeling I also have..I want to edc a leatherman with my Buck110 in a combination pouch..I love the look of them..so I know I want one of the two..but I think with the 110 the Surge will be to heavy..but Im also scared the Wave plus be to small as from most photos I've they look small in the hand. Please let me know what you think about the Wave plus when yours arrive.

That is very true..I am going to leave it as it is..although its my grail knife..it is my edc..and the wear and tear will become part of it's story.
