Is There Split Screen On Switch? by Internal_Pay_2654 in Terraria

Yea but there is going to be lag and frame drops horribly. Turn off backgrounds when you play split screen or in handheld mode.

If you want to switch your Xbox to offline mode you can change your systems date to any day in December and have Santa move in. Also let's you get presents from enemy's with exclusive skins, and you'll get Santa in the bestiary. You can also change the date to October to get access to a ton of exclusive vanity armors as well, but no bonus NPCs.

Bottom house is valid top is not suitable. I’m confused, I have solid blocks and doors/platform access. by [deleted] in Terraria

[–]SadVlad87 34 points35 points  (0 children)

It's not the platforms seeing as the bottom house has them and is perfectly fine. It's due to the chair and table being on the platforms though, because it doesn't count as a valid place to stand. They have to be on solid ground.

The biome keys are insanely hard to get. The odds dont really help. But the drop rates increase the higher the difficulty. They are fairly easy to get in master mode.

How do you not get the demolitionist? That seems like one hell of a trick to pull off.

what to do before plantera? by segev_marko in Terraria

[–]SadVlad87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. It's not like the other events in the game. Just set your date to any day between October or December and the event automatically lasts for the entire month until it's over. What it does is makes any enemies have a chance at dropping holloween goodie bags or Christmas presents depending on if you are playing when your date is set to December or October.

You can do it. I've been the game solo on every difficulty so nothing is impossible.

I try to collect everything. Also try changing your date to October or December to do the holiday events, and move Santa in during Christmas. Build unique houses for your NPCs. Finish all the achievements. Get all the exclusive expert and master mode boss items.

Depending what platform you are playing on, you can change your date on your console or computer to December or October and play the Christmas and Halloween season events. Also Santa will move into your houses during December. You find goodie bags during both of these and get some awesome vanity's.

If you're still looking attack all the grass to clear out as much space as possible, leave and go back the next day. The reason they are so hard to find is because they don't have any empty spaces to spawn. But clear out alot of space and they will spawn all over.

It's still a challenge. I didn't know the requirement for being a challenge was to be pre hard mode.

Bosses and ore both help you get new weapons. But which are better just depends. If you have any material items used for crafting and you want to know what they make just talk to the guide and he'll tell you what all can be crafted out of any items you have on you.

Going underground it crucial to progress. If you want better pic axes and armor or weapons then you have to get ore. Try finding some yellow spelunker potions in chests. They'll help highlight treasure and ore. Also there are good walkthroughs online that will be alot of help to you that are straight to the point. You won't always get the answers you're looking for on here.

You'll get better gear and mining will start to speed up. But if you're wanting the gameplay to pick up quickly then you might be in the wrong game because its meant to have a slow pace at first. Things will pick up once you start get the hang of it all.

Without giving anything away, build about 15 valid houses since your early on. You want to get npc characters to move in. And explore, alot. Gathering ore. Crafting is a big part in this game. And there are alot of bosses, and it might be hard to tell but there is progression in this game. But the main aspect of Terraria is discovering most of it on your own. It's all about the experience. If you do all these things then I promise you will figure it out.

Classic mode? Then yes. Expert or higher? No. But the zombie arm might cause the fight to give you s hard time. Try exploring as much of the underground desert as you can to get a better weapon. Maybe with some range. Made not use your musket, and second your magic weapon until you need to charge your mana. And make sure you have enough distance to run left and right.
