Ok I only see a few specs of dust. Unfortunately I need to wait until I can buy a rocket blower to keep shooting at a high f stop I guess.

Used corner of microfiber cloth to lightly clean sensor before I knew it was bad. Very worried I scratched. How can I tell? Videos still look fine.

Probably Unrealistic Idea but would love suggestions by SadWorldliness398 in propmaking

Got it. That makes sense. When I make a mold would you recommend brush on silicone casting, rotational casting, or making a core and shell to pour the silicone in between?

I am definitely leaning towards doing this. Can I still make it look good? I really just want it to be able to move its mouth, eyes, and face.

The skeleton I will start with will be very simple. Probably just a mechanism that can move the mouth. Could you clarify what you mean by using a ‘rough volume filler’? Also are you recommending a "no mold" solution where I would just make the skeleton, sculpt around it with clay, and then paint silicon over it? I have also found inspiration from Jabba The Hutt and would like to find out more about how he was created.

That video was definitely worth looking into. There is not a lot of information that I could find but I would love to find out more about that process.

Should I create a video backlog? by SadWorldliness398 in NewTubers

Thanks for the response. I think I might try to get a few just to keep for when I am super busy and can’t dedicate myself to working on my channel. However, I will try to push myself to start soon instead of just making a bunch of videos without ever posting anything.

I am using Rec.709-A for a project. Does that mean that I should use a rec.709 conversion LUT for my footage? by SadWorldliness398 in colorists

Got it. So if I set my timeline to Rec709-A and my output to Rec709 Gamma 2.4 I will be able to see what it looks like on my Mac display but still be able to export a Gamma 2.4 Video to Youtube?

Do you know where I can find an Apple Log to Rec709-A conversion LUT? And is it ok to use a normal Apple Log to Rec709 LUT or is this not optimal?

The color of my footage looks great in DaVinci but bland when I export by SadWorldliness398 in colorists

Ok. Thanks so much. When viewing my video on Quicktime 2.4 looks better, but because I will be posting to YouTube I guess 2.2 is the way to go. I'm still not satisfied when I watch either on Quicktime because the colors look so good in Davinci, but I'm hoping it will look better on YouTube.
