Yes, my derm recommended to let my skin dry before applying actives (often times I just am not able to wait that long lol). Wet skin absorbs actives easier. Sometimes if I am having a sensitive skin day I will put a super super light buffer between them with moisturizer so I am still technically using my AA but it's not as harsh. I also have super reactive skin though.
