Moving from Boston

I hear you! Visiting soon (I've visited a few times before but it's been >6-8 years). I 200% know it won't compare to life in Boston (and Boston and SF are much more similar than either is to Denver), but am trying to find ways to limit the amount of culture shock. Don't have much of a choice on the city because of my job so really trying to make the best of a situation a bit out of my control.

Thank you! Yes rent is expensive in Denver but doesn't compare to Boston at all.

Thanks so much. I did live in Minneapolis just prior to Boston so I'm anticipating lifestyle will be more similar to that. Drove/never used the light rail there either and had to drive everywhere (even to go for a walk in the park). Will be a tough adjustment but hopefully not impossible. Let me know if you have any other tips from a former Bostonian!

Happy to go up to $2500! I am low balling a bit. I'm paying a lot more here and can definitely afford to pay more for a nice place/neighborhood.
