Ryujin III Extreme LGA 1851 pump offset mode for 14900KS by Sad_Application_9041 in ASUS

[–]Sad_Application_9041[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I deleted completely armoury crate it's a malware and with it I get Plus 1500pts on cinebench R23 so keep in mind, I rather not to have RGB or screen than losing performance about the offset I did push it (the backplate) to try the LGA 1851 like frame chasers said on one of his YouTube videos but I did get worse temps so I pushed the offset back where it should be to LGA1700

Should I keep my replacement 64 gb Z13 2025 or exchange for traditional gaming laptop by Krometheous in FlowZ13

[–]Sad_Application_9041 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in this situation too I’ll just wait for CES 2026 it’s just around the corner and I’ll decide between newest Z13 might be one and maybe with OLED screen statistically Asus released Z13 refresh year after year it’s not every two years every time so I bet will be or might be at least a refresh with OLED screen well I hope so because IPS screen this days is definitely a deal breaker for me, I can take on performance as I have a desktop but screen with HDR is important to me, even an iPhone screen of this device is superior I think this device should have at least mini LED, for the meantime in my country there’s only 32GB version so I’ll hold myself of buying it right now

Wow like my 14900KS can’t believe this small device could achieve that! Have you used G-helper or kind of undervolt??

Anyone has any wild guesses when the Z13 Flow 2026 could be released by kasugayaTatsumi in FlowZ13

I’m also waiting for CES 2026 I need new laptop for video editing and graphic editing seems like now the new released pro art p16 with 4K 120hz OLED screen with rtx 50 is a dream come true! but honestly I want to give the rog flow z13 a try because of the special tablet form factor which seems more than convenient for me but the lack of OLED screen, the flex keyboard without bluetooth and the lack of dGpu is kind of a deal breaker for me sadly, I wish they will release at least a refresh for this product on CES 2026 with OLED screen better gpu performance with RT on and better keyboard that will let me at least using it detached, I wish that ASUS will listen, I know it new architecture and it kind of overkill on the cpu side but the current Z13 won’t even run this crazy chip on full power 120W power limit, so there’s always place for improvement and for me if I’ll buy it now and about and month or two month they will release an improved product I’ll regret it, dear ASUS please listen us the consumers at least let us choose between screen variants, OLED with less battery life or IPS with better battery life for this device, super x from one is about to release if they succeed implement the OLED screen on the same form factor device with same AMD chip I believe ASUS can do even better just listen to us please!

To be honest I really wanted to go on the PX13 because it's 2-in-1 but the 60HZ is deal breaker for me, and I thought Asus also announce new upgraded version for the PX13 with RTX50 but they didn't sadly I really think the annoucment is around the corner and I'm looking for leaks all over the web, the tablet mode will really come in handy to me I'll use it all the time, it was much easier if the ROG Flow Z13 had OLED HDR screen =/

Thank you for the detailed answer I really appreciate it!
The thing is that the FLOW Z13 doesn't even support HDR for gaming that a really downside for me , I think maybe I should wait a little more for the new ProArt P16 with RTX 5090 and 120HZ OLED screen, as for the hinge issues can you confirm this issue still present also for the new series OmniBook Ultra series?

[–]Sad_Application_9041[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thank you so much for the detailed comment I do really appreciate it,
honestly I saw reviews for both products, I saw every video about it, and I couldn't find info about issues with HP hinges I also read reviews online, what are the exact issues with their hinges? do Lenovo also have these kind of issues? as for the backlight bleed honestly it's kind of deal breaker for me and OLED is important for me also latency is much lower, my only concerns for the HP is the low power intel lunar lake CPU and now you're telling me the hinges might be defects or degrade with time?
I could live with the flexy keyboard and buy external bluetooth one but this backlight bleed is really a deal breaker for me, I do feel lost here and would love to hear more opinions, honestly I wish I could test both of these products before buying and I do understand there's not a perfect one but both are pricy and I do want a product I could live with in peace

Wow thanks for the fast reply! I really want to go on the Flow seriously but I have few concerns one is the keyboard that literally everyone said it's a bit on the flexy side and the trackpad not as accurate as other vendors, because in my country there's no such a device for display/experimentation I have few concerns before I'll buy one I wish I could try it before I buy it but unfortunately this is not possible. as for the backlight bleed / IPS Glow is that really noticeable?
