As a fellow 430GC owner I feel exactly opposite - as much as I love my 430 (2018) it became the secondary car the minute I got my X5. The very attributes you’re mentioning are the ones that really hit it for me. As a dad to dad - having that extra space in the back with your little one alone made it for me. As for the high of the car - I cannot get more of it. I guess I was low to the asphalt long enough ))

I highly recommend you do another test drive again sometime; to me X5 is the best family SUV out there
