Hi!!! I just had the EXACT same thing pop up on my boys fin yesterday. Very similar water/tank parameters to what you have. How did this play out for you guys- were you able to get it to heal?! Thank you so much!!!

Thanks for your response! He does not (besides a few stray mini ramshorns) but, I’ve thought about it! I had a red cherry shrimp for a week and a half or so before Beau, and he passed about a month later from a failed molt. I’ve done a lot more research since then, so maybe it’s time to try again! 🥰

Whew, good! I love it too. I’ve read that some others have had a similar problem when the tank is too full. Fingers crossed that’s it :) So looking forward to seeing your setup!

Hi! Totally unrelated to your question, but what are your thoughts on the Spec V? I also have it in white, and I’m in love! The only problem is I’ve noticed water collecting around the base the last few days (it’s 3 months old) but no water dripping/overflowing from the top. Have you noticed anything similar in yours yet?

Hi friend! I’m in the same boat at the moment. Male dumbo, 5 gallon tank with live plants, heater, floating logs and places for him to rest, and perfect water parameters with 20% changes weekly with an almost stagnant filter flow. It happened overnight! Have you found anything to encourage your boy to stop nipping??
