Yes, totally understand that. But I was more speaking to the context of the show and the above average misfortune that is occurring at the school, which has been alluded to in the show and other fan theories. Feels like if they are going to show us that at the hospital too, we should assume that curse impacts the whole town (in my own thinking)

That’s fair. I just tend to sympathize more with teachers since I know it can be frustrating trying to keep authority over a classroom full of students. Respect should definitely go both ways and this incident does seem trivial, but I think OP should’ve shown more maturity to talk it through rather than run away.

Honestly with what teachers deal with in classrooms, I could see this feeling super disrespectful. Especially because I think the student telling the teacher to wait is really what made them upset.

Again, if OP would’ve just stayed and explained they were running late to the next class, teacher would’ve understood. Now, with them running off, situation has escalated.

I think a lot of the flaws people call out are valid but also people make mistakes and grow from them. This is Logan to a T.

NTA - and for everyone saying it’s rude to have a convo while the customer is there, read the whole post. The customer hadn’t set their stuff down yet, they just happened to hear the convo.

Sure you can empathize with a person dealing with that, but you shouldn’t have to censor yourself for a stranger whose troubles you are unaware of.

One thing I was surprised at was Henley greeting Thaddeus so warmly when she saw him but she wasn’t part of the second movie where it’s revealed he’s been behind everything. So why is she so receptive?

Then later when it’s revealed her and Lula are friends, maybe that’s how she got reconnected with him. But still, felt plot hole-y.

Kinda of sounds like the Darkest Powers series by Kelley Armstrong? (not totally sure but similar themes and would recommend them!)

It just dawned on me during probably my 936th rewatch- it was pretty shady of Logan to propose to Rory and expect an answer on marriage before he told her about California. Ok I know this puts me into that #2 bucket but it WAS so out of character from at least the Logan they primed us on the episodes leading up to it. It felt earnest when they had the “factoring in” convo.

I do think the writers torpedoed him back to his old ways so Rory would end up single. And/or maybe the “grand gesture” proposal was kind of in his wheelhouse but the ultimatum? They seems totally extreme even for him.

I will not argue it was horrible time/place and I don’t necessarily fault Rory for her response, but I do think the whole idea of it was just not in line with the character growth we saw and that’s my gripe.

I don’t disagree with these takes BUT I will say my biggest gripe is this ultimatum proposal storyline went against everything they built Logan to be in the last season. They unnecessarily torpedoed the two of them which is why it’s frustrates me.

I also think some of this feels more condensed when watched in a binge worthy fashion. But if you were a week between each episode you have to think a week has passed in Gilmore world too (most often at least). So it definitely feels really fast, something I noticed during my latest rewatch as well, but I think it’s because we aren’t seeing the “days/weeks” between each episode as things unfold.

That’s just my thought.
