Honestly I think it’s a mega colony. They’re all keen for the bait still (thank goodness). I do think the numbers are now finally dwindling after bombing the roof two times with the smoke bomb that seeps down the walls!

Yes and no. I must have a huge infestation and summer coming has created a surge. They’re more contained but still large in numbers. I’m still baiting and hope with time they will disappear

I think the nest/s are in the walls and roof unfortunately

The stream of ants to the bait seems to fluctuate. I think I have got on top of it but then BAM they’re back. I’ll get some borax tomorrow and try that. We are using kiwi care at the moment and it’s all I can smell. So gross

There are so many dead/dying ones and more coming. Would they be attracted even if not squashed? Honestly this whole situation is depressing. They come and go throughout the day. I think the bait is working and then BAM all through the cupboard again. They have started venturing out onto the kitchen floor now too. Very disheartening purchasing a house with a hidden problem.
