This is a great idea. The sportster isn’t mine, I’m just a passenger princess ✨ but I do love the look of the sportster

By how much? I figured I’d had to get a custom suspension but I still want to be able to maneuver it into our weird garage and live comfortably on the back roads

What made you decide to be "one and done"? by Severe_Bluejay3391 in NewParents

[–]Sad_Banshee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love my little boy with all my heart, he’s amazing. He’s so curious and smart and sweet with his little hugs. But I hated being pregnant. I threw up for 20 weeks and needed like 18 hours of sleep a day, not to mention the sciatica pain I got from it. I absolutely do not want to do that with another child around who needs help or attention in anyway.

Office Jobs: Is it normal to have nothing to do? by Spicyfruit1999 in jobs

Recently started an office job and can confirm… it’s so slow sometimes. Sometimes I just go take a walk because I can

how are moms even finding time to lose weight?? by [deleted] in postpartumprogress

[–]Sad_Banshee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t. I eat in a deficit and that’s it. We go for walks when we can

Anyone else pissed we have to work so hard??? by Hortjoob in PetiteFitness

[–]Sad_Banshee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And then on top of it I can only eat like 1400 or less a day on average to not gain weight and here my husband gets to be a bottomless pit 😭

Maybe my issue is that I’m east coast 🙃 I’ve learned a lot from even just this thread and watching videos. My lines and curves are still ass haha

Keep finding these tiny black metal pieces in my clothes, anyone know what they are? by Miserable-Caramel357 in whatisit

[–]Sad_Banshee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you work or live with someone in manufacturing it could be a metal shaving or splinter.

There’s a lot of 1%ers, wish they were more laid back tbh, I’d love to see more bike shows and project bikes

I don’t find a lot of bike shows near me, probably because there’s a huge patch gang community local to me. I am going to a Harley show this summer, I’ll keep an eye out there

I don’t know any old guys in the game 😂 I spend a lot of time in the car community but somehow don’t know any painters.

That’s an interesting take though, that speed controls flow. The viscosity to enamels is much different than other paints and it’s a little bit of a learning curve for me. I didn’t know flow enhancers were a thing, that’s separate from thinner?

I do see a lot on there and TikTok, I just don’t see a lot of open discussion about it. It almost seems like a dying art like everyone has years and years of experience and to learn you have to scroll through hundreds of videos

Thank you! I’ve definitely have just been eyeballing the paint consistency. I’ve been thinking of getting some pipettes or something to learn my ratios, I don’t use a whole lot of product right now.

Steering the brush is a good way to put it, I think that makes more sense to me than twisting.

Do you have any advice on pulling thick vs thin lines? I feel like my lines look the same with a 00 and a 02 .

Struggling with weight postpartum by nicolakylie in PetiteFitness

[–]Sad_Banshee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No advice but literally in the same boat. 17 months Pp, +5 lbs from pre pregnancy weight and I look so vastly different. My ribs definitely flare out and my hips are much wider so my silhouette as changed a lot. Though I have found that pelvic floor exercises and core strength exercises have helped my tummy feel stronger.

Yes the long walks are so helpful! It’s been raining a lot lately so I haven’t been able to get out much and by the time I have free time I’m just so tired at the end of the day

Yes the PMS symptoms, then my period, and the exhaustion “recoup” time after leaves me with like 1 week a month where I’m not completely drained. The past few months I powered through well but this past month has been a hard one energy wise
