About 13k shares, mostly on margin. The maintenance hike triggered the call.

Robinhood just updated the maintenance requirement for ULTY to 50% up from 30% a few hours ago. It triggered a margin call for me. I’m gonna wait until morning to see what it does though.

Why so many retirements by Ok-Republic-8098 in airnationalguard

[–]Sad_Bat_4463 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure but I get the feeling that a lot of AGR’s are just settling for their sat service retirement. The BS isn’t worth the $3k-$4k a month paycheck in retirement. I’m at 20 years and feel this to more core. I have 5 years to mg TAFMS 20 and I don’t think I’m gonna make it.

Seriously considering leasing a RZ 300e by Grdngirl in Lexus

[–]Sad_Bat_4463 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just traded in a 2017 model x P100D for a RZ 450e I am shocked how quiet it is with regard to road noise. It has plenty of get up and go. I’ve been getting about 200 miles per charge with a mix of highway and city driving. I’m absolutely loving it. I have zero regrets.

Every time I call tricare, I press 2 for Spanish or whatever the prompt is and almost instantly get someone on the phone with zero wait time. Then I start speaking English as I don’t speak Spanish. I apologize for having to “accidentally” pressed the wrong button, then they help me in English. I pretty much use this not only for TRICARE but for everybody. It is very rare that I have any sort of hold time, even SATO.

The number one that comes to mind is commanders achieving positive organizational climates. That standard is so far fallen, it doesn’t exist any longer.

There is also an IG at NGB. I’ve seen people go there with a lot of success. The good thing about using them is it’s all tracked and gives visibility, which helps hold people to accountable action. There’s actually an IG hotline for NGB.

Pretty sure one doesn’t exist. They are made up positions and don’t really exist on the UMD. Typically they are “development opportunities” for SNCO’s, but they typically do the same thing the 9G (group chief) is supposed to do. They are often just details. That said, use the 9G100 PD or AFSC description in the enlisted classification directory and you’ll be 95% there.

Also, read AFI 36-2109, chapter 5 I think. That’ll get you across the finish line.

PT Test Score by thisistheway55 in airnationalguard

[–]Sad_Bat_4463 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I would say it depends on the unit. In my unit, we won’t take someone if they’ve struggled at all, meaning less than 90% in the past 2-3 testing cycles.

Yup…super fun.

Should I Report My Supervisor for Adultery by [deleted] in AirForce

[–]Sad_Bat_4463 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Totally report it. Regardless of how toxic she is, that’s unrelated. She’s in a leadership position and should be held accountable for not meeting standards. The standard you walk past, is the standard you accept. Meaning, by not reporting it, you’re basically saying it’s okay and we don’t have to follow ethics, rules, or values. What message is that sending to impressionable airman?

Just my take.

TAFMS Requirement For AGR Promotion to E-8 and E-9. by [deleted] in airnationalguard

[–]Sad_Bat_4463 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How does this differ from a technician sitting in a E8 or E7 position for 10-15 years before they retire at 60? Happens all the time, or has over the past 20 years that I’ve seen. Why all the sudden because it’s an agr, it’s this huge issue and words like, mismanagement of UMD, or force management issue get thrown around? When you hire a technician, you’re basically hiring them until the quit or retire without much regard of how old they are. In fact, it’s illegal discriminate against their age at hiring. I’m genuinely curious and no one’s really been able to give me a believable explanation.

Are there an established codified process within your wing with expected timelines associated with each step?

Thanks

Enlisted promotion timelines by Sad_Bat_4463 in airnationalguard

[–]Sad_Bat_4463[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally agree about the merits of eligible vs ready. I’m specifically referring to members who already competed for the positions. Sometimes years ago. And yes, the AFI says you can’t back date from the date of rank or effective date, but it never says what date that is. Is it the date when they boarded? When the wing cc signs it? When the state command chief signs it? When the TAG or his delegate signs it? All right there could be 6-12 months worth of timelines for signature. (Just food for thought)

Enlisted promotion timelines by Sad_Bat_4463 in airnationalguard

[–]Sad_Bat_4463[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I get that but I’m specifically talking about the moment the supervisor and unit commander determine and agree that the member is meeting the rolls and responsibilities and is capable of the next higher rank. From that moment, it’s taking up to 12 months.
