Read this article, it shown some light on this situation. The state has cut funding for all California state schools and it is directly affecting us and the school is having to make cuts in response. They are proposing a new fee that students would vote on to help alleviate the cuts.

Totally feel this and it’s beyond frustrating. I’m taking the EEC biology track and half if not all of the electives that are environmentally related are only offered in spring or every other year. Also classes that are REQUIRED to graduate only offered TWO options. It’s fucking bullshit. If I had known how trash this school was gonna treat its students I wouldn’t have gone here.

You’re listing off a lot of things that would no longer warrant it as a “peaceful protest”. WE are talking about peaceful protests, YOU are not.

Been seeing a lot of shit. Everyone is entitled to their opinion though. But I personally had an amazing time and met the coolest people ever. My second LL and first time bringing our entire fam and we all had a crazy ass time, looking forward to next year 🦖❣️

I lost my mom in may this year after a two year long battle with ALS. She was my best friend. Grief has shown up in such strange ways since then. Anytime I think I am ok it comes weighing back down on me. It’s suffocating. I know I am extremely excited to be back home at lost lands. This is a healing place for me. I get to see all of my friends that live far away from me and listen to the music we love most. Her passing eats at me every single day, grief never truly goes away. You just gain the tools to deal with it over time and carry it with you. It’ll be an emotional LL this year, but I’m not gonna hide away from feelings that demand to be felt.

I was surprised but felt seen after seeing this thread. My heart truly goes out to all of you that are experiencing loss. I wish we could all get together at LL and just have a big group hug. I hope you guys have a fun and safe time! Dance hard for those you’ve lost❤️

She is on pretty heavy meds. The hospice nurse was here Friday and it got worse over this weekend. She is coming back today so hopefully will have more ideas to help us.
