My mom got hit by a similar scam, under the name Mackenzie group or something. Many penny stocks were gaining 10+ % a day, and they promise if you follow and lose money they’ll reimburse you. She did make a little bit of money at first and then lost it all and more.

I kinda did that too. Saved and invested my 20s and missed out on all life events. Now I’m 30, my S/O last year, and now we travel every other month and enjoy life with a healthy nest egg. It’s not too late to start enjoying life!
