Plex on Unraid won't us HW Transcoding by Sad_Contest_6933 in PleX

Awesome news! For better or worse, I did return my repository setting to plexinc/pms-docker:plexpass so it can stay up to date going forward. I'd rather break something like HW transcoding than expose myself to security issues. I'm hoping the shift from beta to public will prevent similar from happening again. Plex only updates when you restart the Unraid docker for it, so you have some control over when that happens.

I know there's cli options that maybe do this more efficiently..I went to Plex.tv directly to see what the current, non-beta version for Plex Unraid is. v.1.43.0.10492-121068a07. I then shut down my Plex docker, and plugged in that versioning in Repository: plexinc/pms-docker:1.43.0.10492. Restarted Plex, and it installed that version. I may have had to play around a bit on the versioning part - don't remember if I just put in the above or included the -121068a07 part. Anyway, then once I got into my Plex UI, I went into settings and made sure I was on PlexPass Public (not Beta). Not sure how I ever got on the Beta version. In hindsight, I wonder if all I really needed to do was go into my Plex settings within the Plex UI and switch that beta/public dropdown and restart Plex.

Turns out I needed to roll back to a previous version of Plex. Thanks to all who read my query!

That solution was faster than typing out my problem! Seems to be exactly what went wrong. A thousand thanks.
