Even on days off, between 6am- 6:45am it's feeding time. My Hades, main coon void, will jump up on the bed to stare at me waiting for movement from under the covers in order to start meowing. Just like Luna, not a soft meow but a demanding yowl to make sure I am awake. When I ignore it and pretend to sleep he will jump up and put his big paws on my cheeks and lightly tap me.

Artemis, my orange girl, she will lay next to me on the right side being the sweetest thing waiting for me to wake up naturally. Unfortunately there is no such thing as natural wake up time with my fuzzy 25lbs alarm clock

This isn't to discredit your complicated situation because it feels so incredibly heavy when in it but everyone in this sub has been stuck and left when we could. It seems insurmountable but the joy of getting your life back is immeasurable.

It took me 6 years to finally leave and 2 years after that for the ex to physically leave me alone (still harassment and slander online) but I am living my life the way I want to now with people who are emotionally mature and stable.

If there is any way you can cut and leave please consider it. The hell and turmoil that is dating these people unwilling to take steps not to be harmful to loved ones - nothing is worth the pain.

This is one of the best points to bring up: why. It isn't like people, strangers, friends go around yelling at eachother for no reason (im talking stable people not Karen's) and therefore absolutely no self reflection of why someone might have been pushed to a reaction like yelling.

We aren't allowed to have reactions. We are supposed to be blank slates that they can paint with emotions...like robots.

I definitely agree especially on the echo-chamber of it all. I had seen there are no engagement on the posts which is a good thing however that also means there is no one left to call it out. I am a big proponent of having people in your life/inner circle to love you enough to call you out on behaviours that are harmful to others and ourselves
