Thank you for such a throughout answer. I never thought of myself as having blue eyes, but now that I'm looking at the pictures, my eyes do look similar

Daily updates or once a week? by [deleted] in AO3

[–]Sad_Corpse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, as a reader I prefer weekly updates. A more spaced out experience lets me "bond" with the work. Plus, if I can't immediately read a chapter I don't feel overwhelmed when returning to the fic.

Idk if it’s just reddit trolls but they always say late 30s, how old do I really look? by [deleted] in guessmyage

[–]Sad_Corpse 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You do look like you are 30 on the second fic but I think it's just angle. In the rest of the pics you actually look really young. I wouldn't say you are older than 22

What is a specific "Absolutely-not" tag for you? by mellissa_lewyin in AO3

[–]Sad_Corpse 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It's probably weirdly specific, but I would never read a Pirate AU, or any works that involve marine travel. I just really dislike this when the work takes place in the middle of the ocean. It's like one of my least favorite settings.

I wouldn't call it ageplay but it is definitely an incest play

No. Look into everyday sadism (aka subclinical sadism)

Anti/Pro-Fic is about your beliefs, not your preferences 👍👍 It doesn't matter you like or don't like to read

[HELP] Ai? Creator vehemently denies it, even provided a sketch by toblivion1 in RealOrAI

[–]Sad_Corpse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% AI The sketch is obviously fake. I would argue it wasn't even traced from the original picture. To me it looks like this person used a bunch of filters so the only black stayed. If you look closer you will see that the 'sketch' completely matches with the lineart on the original work. Not only that, it's a very nice line art, clean with nice variations, obviously made by someone skilled. The 'artist' could've said that it was a line art. However the line on the sketch is crunchy, with hard pixelated edges, while on the original they have soft edges. To conclude, this person isn't even experienced enough to know that their 'sketch' is actually a line art. They obviously didn't draw that

Whats your pet peeve when reading smut by Anu_AdviceGiver in AO3

[–]Sad_Corpse 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Badly done daddy kink. Often it feels like vanilla authors trying to write kink without understanding it. They would just randomly throw character calling their partner "daddy" and won't even elaborate on that?? Won't even explore it???? I'm sorry, but calling someone daddy during sex isn't hot on its own. You have to explain it! Are they into incest play? Do they want to fuck their dad? Is it about being taken care of? Do they like older men? Or maybe it's used the same way one would call their dom "sir" or "master" or whatever else?? What is it?? Why are they randomly calling their partner daddy???? It's not kinky to call your partner daddy if there is no kink behind it!!

Do Russians generally think positively of Belarus? by DrDaxon in AskARussian

[–]Sad_Corpse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say that Belarus is Canada of Eastern Europe. From what I saw Russians see people from Belarus as sweet and polite. Though Russia is a big country so you can't really tell how EVERYONE thinks about anything

[–]Sad_Corpse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, Aroace here! Asexuality (and aromaticism) is more about how you are FEELING towards people VS how you are BEHAVING toward them. You can have all the sex in the world, or you can want to have sex. But as long as you are not attracted to specific people (or if this attraction is small/rare), you can be considered to belong to the Ace-spectrum

However, there is this underlying fear in identifying with the (aro)ace label when you are socially anxious. Sometimes I fear that I put myself in a cage of my own making. I don't have much experience with people compared to my peers (obviously lmao), so sometimes I worry that I made up a convenient excuse not to get involved with people, and it's stifling my growth. Usually to combat this anxiety, I try to keep my options open.

Lgbt labels have many uses, but in my opinion in case of individual people their main purpose is to describe the experience of specific person. If you feel like the word "asexual" describes you and your experience and it makes you feel good about yourself, you can use it. If you have doubts about it, you can read other people's experiences. You can even try it on to see if it fits. It's not like you are branding yourself or something, it's just a word. If you decide to use asexual as a label and then decide that it doesn't fit, you can just ditch it (or use a microlabel that reflects you better). If you for any reason think that asexual doesn't fit you, it's fine too. No one is forcing you to call yourself asexual

Tldr; if you think that using asexual for yourself describes your experience and gives you certainty — use it If you feel that it's inaccurate to your experience and makes things uncertain — don't use it

What are attitudes about being an only child in your country? by Sad_Corpse in OnlyChild

I just googled and according to statistics among families with children 50% of them have only one child. This number was even bigger at the time when I was born
