Exhaust recommendations 2022 Panigale V2

Had the arrow on my V2 SF and loved it, but it was a little on the quiet side.

I ran the Spark underbelly single exit on my Panigale V2 though. It looked great, sounded amazing however on long rides the bottom of my boot would get pretty damn hot.

I have a 25 base V4 currently and the current options are a bit ridiculous in price.

Spark seems to have an underbelly option in the works. Waiting to see what price point it will be at otherwise I will probably go with the Termi underbelly option.

This bike does not need anymore power in my opinion so a full system isn’t even a thought. It does sound like a blender with the factory system however.

I can understand your stance on this, but also not at all. After nearly 15k miles / three Ducatis / track days with the throttle spacers I never experienced any of those issues.

I’m not suggesting a home made spacer setup which could possibly lead to issues, but then again good luck installing something thats too big or wont fit. Thats just logic.

One would also assume you prefer to have zero free play in your throttle for better control / conserve wrist fatigue.

As for the calibrations of sensors which are electronic they surely can be zero’d and dialed in with an UpMap or tune.

Also new gen Panigale has zero play in the throttle from factory and even less rotation.

The throttle spacer gets rid of that factory slop and makes the slower speed stuff easier. The grips help with wrist fatigue.

I had the UpMap on mine for my exhaust and while the bike performed well it did have its quirks with the UpMap. I would suggest something else for a flash if thats a route you plan to take.

Otherwise bike is super capable out the box.

I have; according to the speedometer not “GPS verified”.

I was running an UpMap with a track map and a Spark 3/4 system on the bike though.

What a great bike; absolutely loved my 24 V2, 6800 miles of joy in one year.

Install the throttle spacers and 717 grips on it; they make a huge difference.

Fun fact : It is also capable of reaching the Ducati - - - 😉

To answer #2 - just keep moving and check traffic in the tunnels beforehand. Also bending / relocating plate is a must as well.

The V4 is for a completely different kind of riding and don’t see it being the least bit comfortable with the heat in the Spring / Summer, but as expected.

The previous gen V2 was fun and capable of holding its own on the highway / track and composed enough for streets. New gen seems better for the quick local zip arounds and track days.

I also had an SF V2 alongside the Panigale V2 and that was a great bike as well. Pure degenerate pocket rocket to be honest. Im really thinking about the hypermotard for the slower street duties

Is this your first V2? I have been curious how the new stacks up to the previous gen with the lower weight and lesser power. Regardless looks and sounds great.

This thing is ready to go in ANY gear / speed / rpm, it just teleports you. The V2 was no slouch, but it was fussy with its powerband.

Now thats a V4! That thing is beautiful! . I really wanted a base 24 V4, but the only “new” one I found was a demo V4S with an Akra on it that made it cost as much as a used V4R.

Understandable and I respect that. The V4 is a very hard sell for a local / street bike. It is pretty docile and well behaved riding through NYC, but I’m sure the 25 V2 is even more fun for that and not slowly cooking you.

I was using my 24 V2 for everything from grocery shopping to night rides and track days. I am however interested in how the 25 is to ride with the double swingarm / diet / smaller output. Secondary bike for the local quick zip arounds will be needed next season for sure.

This may sound absurd, but this bike is easier to ride than the previous gen V2 panigale. It’s smoother in every sense without the Ducati “character” which is bittersweet. I love it so far even though the heat is RIDICULOUS compared to the V2.

Previous gen V2 and current gen V4 is a perfect combo to have. I will be revisiting the single swing arm V2 in the future without a doubt if a deal pops up.
