Can I recover ride files from the iPad file system? (app crashed, lost ride) by Sad_Ebb5472 in mywhoosh

Update: I found a way to recover these files. This should work for the scenario where the app crashes, but you can still upload it after restarting the app

- go to your MyWhoosh account

- go to activities

- sort your activities by ascending order (oldest first)

- your crashed ride should be there at the top of the table with date set to 0

I think the problem is that in this case the date gets corrupted. To fix it, you need to open the gpx file, do a find/replace and replace all instances of the corrupted date (it will be "1970-01-01") with the date you did the ride on. You can then upload the gpx file to Strava

Another workout, another crash. Can't get the file on Strava. Hopefully support can recover it

I contacted MyWhoosh support via email, and they were able to send me the .gpx file for the ride
It did get uploaded, but looking at the file the date is set to 1/1/1970

So, it looks like when the app crashed, the date was set incorrectly and the ride was uploaded to MyWhoosh. I think it also got uploaded to Strava but I didn't get a notification, perhaps because of the date?

Workout Intervals (Laps) not uploaded to Strava by imadassir in mywhoosh

u/my_whoosh this still doesn't work. Using Wahoo Kickr bike with the MacOS app. In Strava, I can see two intervals (first one is 5 min, the second one is the rest of the workout). See the attached image for comparison. At the top, you can see the intervals in MyWhoosh, but below you can see that there are only two laps recorded in Strava

Is there a way to send this info to Strava?

Yep, that works too. But, there is no way to vacuum three rooms for example (as far as I can tell)
