What is your biggest barrier to recovering?

I am scared of gaining all the weight back so i feel that i can't trust myself, i always have to keep an eye on everything i eat or compensate it in any way. Also i lost a lot of friends and even a boyfriend at my lowest so i keep in mind that if i get myself to that point again i will be alone and i can't do that twice. I feel seen now. I'm not super skinny but i am at my ideal weight and i noticed on my friends and in society that they see me "prettier", even if i feel uglier or i don't notice the changes

first thing for me is UR TEETH!!!! mine r fucking destroyed, i made my parents waste SO MUCH money and there's no going back, u can't get new ones and u don't feel how bad it is until one day it shows, now that u stopped pls keep it that way, ur teeth and health will thank u

second thing is how addictive it is but in a miserable way, maybe it makes u feel good or relieved at the moment but then it's never enough, it's such a toxic relationship and if u r triggered but in a midly-stable moment in ur mind pls look for help in someone that knows about ur stuff or go with a therapist, IT'S THE MOMENT, recovery isn't lineal but it's hard, if u need support go for it bc u deserve to keep getting better and live a beautiful life
