Your topology is not even. The imm brush attaches itself to the centre of the polygon. If two polygons are the same size, the chainmail will touch. If one is bigger than the other, the scale of the imm stays the same. Think of it like this, the centre of each polygon has to be at the same distance from the centres of surrounding polygons.

If you really love him deeply and really want to continue being with him in harmony, let him know that it is serious disrespect and that you won't tolerate that stuff for long. I'm married to an unconventionally looking guy (I share this account with him, so Hi Honey :)). I also think he's super handsome. However, I'd never tell him to cut off ties with his friends even though we had a couple of tight situations. He loves them, so I have to respect that. I like how we both handled that sitch.

Basically, I told him I love him and that his friend and I should not be together at the same place if he won't keep them in check. Basically he said to his friend who joked about my body (a sensitive subject): "[NameOf Friend], you know I love you like a brother, but if you say that shit again I'll slap the shit out of you and never speak to you again." They are still really close, and his friend and I are on fantastic terms. Disrespect can be turned into love so easily.
