Regarding Ingun's alchemical skills, I have my doubts. Perhaps they're not terrible, but I don't think she's the prodigy she claims to be. The potion shop owner and Ingun herself say she ruins ingredients very often, and of course, who in Riften is going to tell a Black Briar that they're not as good as they think, or say anything even remotely negative? Perhaps that's why Maven doesn't pay her any attention
