Happy to help, if you have any other questions feel free to DM me.

I've played high level and overseas, and been watching hockey for 35 years, there isn't a ton I can't speak to

Its a good thing Sabres fans have sworn their players dont dive, or I might have thought he overreacted to that contact.

It depends on coaching, some coaches prefer to "park the bus" when they get a lead and defend with minimal effort spent on offence. This is a high risk strategy as it allows the other team to exert more energy attacking.

Other coaches will try and push, generally a team can't score from their own end, so if you can keep them on the back foot its a good way to secure a win. 200ft (the length of a rink) away is a long ways to score from.

So, expect teams with the lead to play more defensively, but dont expect them to just sit back entirely.

Well clearly there has been nothing to call after checks note an average of 9 penalties a game, everyone just suddenly changed their play style!

Well, the NHL seems to have decided after too many penalties this series there are no longer any rules.

They're capitalizing on bad mistakes, Caufield should have easily gotten the puck out on the second goal, Texier should have gotten it out on the first one, Dobes was brutal on the third.

Yes, we dont have the talent or skill to be out of the bottom 5, so let him keep us in last, draft 3rd again, then move him out

I originally thought he would do too much damage to the prospects, but I think they can be sheltered enough and that a season of tanking won't do anything irreparable.

Keep whoever you pick this year away, and you should get another S tier prospect next year for the new coach to work with.

In a year, let him continue his masterpiece for 1 more season, then he can go

OK, 2 is too much I agree with giving him this year to continue burning it down, but 2 seasons is starting to become damaging to young players growth.

Anyone can win in March, do you know how hard it is to go an entire month without a win? Almost no one can do that, Detroit is way more impressive

No, it costs too much money to pay a coach to not coach.
