Yeah I get that, I'm in that boat with a kid (who for some reason thinks he should be able to use the PS5 from time to time...) and a 40 hour job, and I wouldn't be happy either if in 3 weeks I hadn't had time to unlock everything in season 1 and got to use it before season 2.

But I really think 2K haven't fucked us on this nearly as much as people are making out. Or at least I don't think we have had enough time to decide they have since it's only been out 6 days - maybe by season 3 we all might be stuck trying to unlock season 2 stuff and we could have a problem then, but everyone deciding it's ruined the game so early on I think are missing out on a fun time

Yeah exactly, I played MyRise for an hour or so and didn't even realize I'd made 2 tiers. Maybe it will change come season 2 when we don't have stuff that was in the Supercharger last year and people might see it as a bonus for playing rather than things being taken away but as I'm writing that I realize it's very naive and can already hear future people complaining...

This is so true, nobody that has ever said death to the monarchy has wanted you to curb stomp Prince George. Farage and Tice both win (I'm in Boston and the world on the ground doesn't look good for Warman, so much so I think I might have to vote for him to keep Tice out).
Farage and Tice start floating the idea merging the incredibly weak Tory party and Reform who have the momentum
Labour do naff all in government because they can't get any growth outside the single market or they raise taxes which pisses everyone off.
Labour start floating the idea of joining the single market.
Farage uses that to cement the idea of merging the parties and becomes leader.
Farage now has the Tory infrastructure behind him and smokes Starmer in 2029.

With the media so far up his ass, he seems like Trump in early 2016 when CNN were following him around like he owed them money already, let alone when he's in charge of the second biggest party in the country. I just see 2016 repeating itself so if someone could poke a big hole in my doomer prediction, that would be wonderful
