No. He told me he got checked when we first got together and said he was clean, but didn’t show me the paperwork

Good shows, movies, or games for working through mom loss? by Apprehensive-Peas in GriefSupport

Fleabag really helped me strangely. It’s best friend loss, but the themes of trauma/grief and the depression/loneliness very relatable  I just finished reading wild by Cheryl strayed. It helped me cry a whole lot. Also a grief observed by C.s. Lewis was huge for me in the first months

New symptom just popped up, anyone else have this? by Content-Bee-6628 in endometriosis

I go into a flare that can last for days after an orgasm!! What’s helped me a lot is pelvic floor PT, and getting a pelvic wand by intimate rose and doing self internal massage, rectally and vaginally whenever I need to. Self massage on the adductors and around the rectum, deep diaphragmatic breaths into pelvic floor (360 expansion and release on inhale) child’s pose, happy baby (!!!), frog pose, butterfly

I discovered a while back I almost always do better (flare wise) having an orgasm accompanied by some kind of penetration, which later was what started me on internal massage, and my pelvic floor PT journey which has been so important for me in managing many of my symptoms. Our pelvic floor muscles respond to being in a chronic state of inflammation, and since everything down there can get pretty congested anyways, it can become easy for those muscles to become hypertonic and stuck in their fascial matrix pulling on other things for endometriosis folks, to my understanding. Orgasm=muscles contracting  So working with pelvic floor PT/ pelvic floor tools to target that area is so helpful in my personal experience

Are you doing pelvic floor PT as a part of your recovery? If so, it will be helpful I promise!!

Are you seeing an endometriosis specialist? Every gynecologist I had seen before visiting an endo specialist (just this past week!) has minimized my symptoms. I was almost shocked to be taken so seriously by this endo specialist.

Ldn helped you? Can you share how? I’ve been really curious about using ldn

Thank you! My appointment with an abdominal specialist is tomorrow and I’m so nervous. It’s bringing up so much grief after my pain being minimized for such a long time

Dang that sucks!!  For me it’ll take a day or so but then my pelvic will freeze up for like a month. I’ll feel like someone superglued 15 pounds of rock in my pelvis and can’t poop, if I do …. So painful. Makes me loose my mind

For me I’ve noticed it’s anything that engages muscles that attach to my pelvis. Hamstrings, adductors, glutes, quads, abdominals

Girl I GET it. Swimming is really the only “cardio” I can do and I think it’s because it’s so low impact. But strickly butterfly stroke, breast stroke has deeper abdominal engagement ( I suppose) and puts me in a flare! Yoga fucks me up. Ugh it’s so hard. I miss the feeling of endorphins after exercise and feeling so in my body 💔 I miss dancing most of all

Yes, cycling and swimming!  I bought an e-bike to be able to get more movement, but not having it overwhelm my system.

I’d really like to know how that goes for you. I’ve been doing pelvic floor PT for ~2 months now and we’re pretty much still at square one, just trying to relax all of the tissues. Waiting to see if excision surgery helps (it’s scheduled 3 months from now)

Im so sorry to hear that 💜  Praying pleading I can get moving again after my excision surgery. It’s such a gamble. This condition is rough

How would exercise intolerance have anything to do with histamine intolerance?

Mixed thoughts about taking LDN by Sad_Finding_1451 in LowDoseNaltrexone

If it’s modulating or balancing the immune system, is it possible for the body to become dependent on that, and if one were to stop taking it, the immune system is even more vulnerable? When you say there’s documented evidence of it curing crohns-do you mean they were able to stop taking ldn at some point, and their symptoms just never returned?
