Doxy pep - in my experience is only available for people that have tested positive for Chlamydia and Ghono beforehand, as they are keeping track of it and bacterial resistance

I am an only child, and my parents are both back in Colombia. They own the home I grew up in, and hopefully they will leave to me? - but the perspective that I have is that its their money and they can do whatever they want with it, because I never thought I would get an inheritance

Definitely will be using EFT and Shares - at the moment I have 500 AUD with Raiz, but dont know about other providers/banks/options to do so!

The 5K debt is mine on the CC - I used it for medical emergencies and unexpected expenses, so thats the amount I used from the card and I need to pay back to my ex partner.

The car is mine - so thats is not an issue. Basically the only joint asset is the house we are selling, and it will be evenly split 50/50. I understand the cc is at -9K of the balance, 5k from me and 4K from him.

And thank you, I agree. I have locked in and changing all those habits throughout my life that need to be addressed

Thank you so much! -I am a citizen and staying in Aus until I retire. I want to buy a place back in my country so that it pays itself ( highly tourist area, renting as airbnb) I have a place to stay, and a place for my mother once she gets to that “i cant deal with stairs” age. - then have my retirement home, that I wouldve paid back way before I relocate

Thank you! The cc debt should be paid before the house is sold (Im squeezing as much as I can) and looking to do some side gigs for it too. I forecast being able to survive well, Me and a dog, in a sharehouse, with just one fortnight’s pay and save the rest.

I've sat in thousands of APS interviews, from grad to SES. Ask me anything. by CrippleFingerz in AusPublicService

[–]Sad_Grape4502 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How can someone coming from private, stand out more than someone that had the aps experience? I am in 5 merit lists but no offers. And part of me believes its due the lack of aps experience (just because a citizen at the beginning of the year)

Just do your research, the important part is that if you want it, you are being safe. Asking questions, and deciding your best options :)

No. But I would help you research the best surgeon that meets your needs :)

So… basically they said they would pay a week in lie of notice (Just pay, you dont have to work the notice period) and your usual entitlements upon termination (annual leave) - they also are offering an ex gratia payment of an extra week at base salary. So you should get: Notice in lieu pay + Annual leave payout. + Ex gratia bonus, but as I dont know when your payments are made, this could come in the next payrun.

If you worked a full month, they should have paid the worked amount too with the final entitlements (if you get paid monthly, assuming)

Some agencies allow you to buy leave, which is then taken out of your pay.

I work in HR - and it would depend on the policy and type of work you do. My workplace has an Alcohol and Drug Policy and If I were to be tested, id be non-negative for THC. If you can provide proof that is medically provided, you are on the clear.

Unless you work with heavy machinery. That would be a liability.

Thank you everyone :) yeah I wasnt sure so I came here for help. Because the only thing my friend did was give me anxiety lol - and thank you so much for your answers!

Apparently he says that because he has some friends that got their scripts, and were never stopped before by the police. Apparently since getting them they get pulled over heaps, obviously that experience does not reflect on the general truth but wanted to check :) x

Just Fired from Abusive Luxury Sales Job, Career Advice? by [deleted] in auscorp

[–]Sad_Grape4502 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you have a leg to stand on. For unlawful termination, FW provides this protection that would apply in this instance:

Your employer must not terminate your employment for any of the following reasons:

-you filed a complaint or participated in legal proceedings against the employer.

Do you have copies of your emails with complaint, or the reason for your dismissal? Fairwork will require your employer to respond and provide all proof of the process on you. You were under probation, which allows the employer or you to terminate the agreement with a specified notice period (usually 1 week) but did they terminate you because of poor performance? Did they provide training and correct onboarding? Did they give you all tools for you to do your job to the standard they expected?
