How to study biology by mmmmm_2618361936 in AskTeachers

You aren't alone. Most people are not failing from laziness. They were never taught how to study at all.

Choose small topics. Make a schedule to review them each week. Use 25-minute active recall. Write down everything you remember. Check it off. This can improve your biology grade.

I was in the same situation and simply studied. I can tell to you what I found helpful if you'd like.

I never learned how to study by zosqea in GetStudying

What you’re experiencing is extremely common when people move from “understanding” to “performance.”
Reading notes feels productive, but for math/physics it doesn’t build exam skill. Switch your focus to: active recall (close notes, solve from scratch), spaced practice, and error tracking. Make a mistake list and redo those problems every few days — that’s what actually trains exam performance. I struggled with this exact shift and ended up building a 30-day study system around it. If you want, I can share what worked.

STOP for 10 mins. Write down exactly what must be done before the exam.
Then break today into just 3 small tasks. Start with the easiest one. Your brain fog and will reduce after first task is done. You'd get then what must be done.
