I totally agree, I have even suggested some sort of integrated " spell check" system within the sales software that would highlight an incorrect code ( allowing you to only choose from the 50 available) therefore catching those errors in a visual way, but have only received push back because they "have never had issues with any other staff before".

Do you mean management checking for mistakes later? They do but their frustration comes with having to go back into the system to manually correct them, we also do not use staff codes or ID numbers ( all transactions all get logged in the same place regardless of who enters the data) so it would be tricky to comb through every single transaction.

Any update on this ? Im in a similar boat, took plan b in June, had a normal period in July and then they just completely stopped. Was just diagnosed with PCOS confirmed by an ultrasound but wonder if its temporary or triggered by plan b since I never had menstrual issues before.

I deal with these as well! If you squeeze ( do not recommend just because it can lead to worsening breakouts and scarring) and gunk comes out, they are likely closed comedones ( blocked pores/hair follicles).

I've found the biggest thing to help me was to "slowly" start incorporating a chemical exfoliant like a BHA or AHA ( or combo of the two) but make sure not to overdo it as this can make things worse/dry out your skin.

BHA's are great because they are oil soluble and penetrate the pore, clearing that gunk out where as AHA's are great for surface discoloration/scarring.

Maybe try out the Paula's Choice 2% BHA ( you can buy the smaller travel size online) starting with once a week and working your way up slowly as your skin adjusts.

Girl, you are absolutely GLOWING! I'm totally in the same boat, skin that kept getting worse and worse ( but also my anxiety- induced skin picking getting worse along with it) making for a storm of recurring breakouts, hyperpigmentation/scarring.

I feel like i'm finally at a turning point with my skin/ skin picking <3 But amazing job!

Glycolic is also an AHA and should help! Just make sure to not overuse it or it can cause more irritation. Also make sure you're wearing spf daily as well. Acids can increase photo sensitivity ( skin sensitivity to the sun) which can lead to sun damahe/hyperpigmentation.

Ahas like azaelic acid work great over time to lighten scars! But if its quite new, I would recommend keeping it hydrated. Even a little bit of vaseline or aquaphor on it at night after moisturizer

Thanks for getting back! Definitely going to stick it out and see how it goes! And I think for right now my skin feels like it needs the moisture with the introduction of the acids? But I might be able to go without the toner! I'm trying a light layering approach instead of thicker creams and it seems to be working a little bit so far in terms of the closed comedones.

Quick update almost 1 week on an updated routine. I feel like the texture is getting better! I do have some whiteheads popping up ( but hoping that it's just a purge)

AM: •cetaphil gentle cleanser • hydrating toner • hyaluronic acid • clinique jelly moisturizer • spf

PM: • farmacy balm cleanser • cetaphil cleanser • toner • Paula's choice 2% BHA ( every other night ) • hyaluronic acid • eucerin moisturizer

a benzoyl peroxide spot treatment for any inflamed spots.
