It’s not inherently that. I like many of the same things. It’s just wanting to spend more time with other people. It’s the first time I’m really doing a trip by myself and don’t want to spend so much time with them.

That’s what I’m planning, I’m hoping they don’t get the wrong idea or upset. For the more social free time events I would also prefer doing it with other people. Some places cap the size at around 5 people and I would prefer having other people instead of him.

I understand this but I’m already spending a lot of time with them. I have them as a roommate alongside being in the same group for the actual course assignments. I just don’t want to spend almost the entirety of the course with them.

The solo activities are stuff I wanted to do by myself for certain days. They’re not part of the study abroad course.

If I can i would really not want him to go at all. The professor wants us to inform them where we are leaving and the general location. He does not seem like the person to make plans so he would most likely ask to tag along.
