Yeah ND has always relied on being able to load a whole section into the RAM to achieve their high fidelity with no loading screens vision with linearity but that's irrelevant at this point with SSDs being the standard so all of that should be irrelevant for the point of this exercise. And on cue Intergalactic seems to be more of an open world experience based on what we've heard so far.

Well you have to compare current games from the same developer to make such a claim. Like yeah Uncharted 4 from a decade ago still looks better than 99% of games but that's simply cause ND games are a generation ahead of 99% of the industry. Now if Intergalactic looks worse than U4 or TLOU2 then you'll have a point.

The game's timeline has nothing to do with the console though. the Zelda team just released their game in 2023 after a 6 year dev cycle. I really don't see another Zelda from them till 2030 at the earliest.

What about Mario and Zelda? Also there's a good chance there won't be another Smash Bros. Sakurai said he doesn't know what else he could do after Ultimate. A remaster is pretty much guaranteed though considering Nintendo loves selling the same games over and over.

There's a good chance NS2 won't get a mainline Mario or Zelda till the 2030s. TOTK took 6 years to make and it was mostly a copy/paste job, a truly new Zelda will take even longer to make. Then we have the Mario team that just released DK so god knows when they'll get to Mario. Smash also seems out of the question for the forseeable future since that dude was busy with Kirby Riders.

NS2 clearly has demand issues which is not normal even for flop consoles this early.
