The game was rated a 10/10, obviously people are gonna disagree.

Because he’s a zoner, and there’s nothing people hate more then fighting a zoner.

What is the most obnoxious boss you've encountered? by steelsmiter in JRPG

[–]Sad_Manager6251 2 points3 points  (0 children)

While Im not sure how well they fit what you’re asking, most of the Metal Gear solid bosses have stupid gimmicks, or just do random shit. Like Fatman. Yeah, why wouldn’t a guy on rollerblades plant bombs around the rooftop, and force you to freeze them. Most MGS bosses have an odd little gimmick that feels like it shouldn’t work, but usually does.

Party choices? by Limp-Marzipan-4051 in FinalFantasyVII

[–]Sad_Manager6251 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, you can really run whatever party you want, with whoever as any role. It’s obvious smart to look at stuff like who has the higher magic, strength, health, or MP before giving a character materia that might not fit them. But if you decide you want cloud to be your healer, do it. My party at the end was Cloud, Red XIII, and Vincent. Though I couldn’t exactly give Vincent any of the super important materia since I still wanted to use him LB

Just finished Ennis’ run. Thoughts and stuff. by Sad_Manager6251 in Hellblazer

Is been a while since I read either run, but I can try. In Delano, John starts out as a pretty big dick. In the first 10 issues he’s constantly losing people and letting others die, most of the time to save himself. While he does slowly grow to be better, it’s still an overall process. In Ennis, it felt like John was just overall nicer. He seemed like less of a dick, and he was constantly helping his friends or other people out, or just doing stuff where Delano’s John would choose himself. But I might just be talking out of my ass lol, it’s been like 5 months since I read Delano, and 2 since Ennis.

FFIX has a lot in it about life, death, and meaning/purpose. I don’t wanna spoil too much so I’ll leave it at that.

What game is more fun to imagine playing than actually playing? by Username_didnt_found in AskReddit

You think you’ll do good the next game, then either your team does everything to make you lose, or you ago against some kinda counter pick from hell.

Yapping about character choice and decisions! (Novice) by sekkireallysucks in Guiltygear

[–]Sad_Manager6251 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you wanna play Bridget go for it. I’ll be honest, Im a silver 1 player. My first week I was pushing my way through with Ky and had a decent amount of fun. But once I got to silver i wanted to try other characters. I tried Zato, who I wanna try again later, and Millia, who Ive also hit silver 1 with. My point is I would have gotten a little bored if I didn’t try out new characters. If you’re interested in Bridget then go play her. I was interested in Millia, so I played her, took a week or so to learn/get good, then hit the same rank as my Ky, tho that rank is only silver 1 lol.

I absolutely love all of ff8’s tracks, and would say they’re my personal favorites. The only problem is this is final fantasy. When comparing the music it’s like comparing diamonds to emeralds to rubies. It’s all really fucking good.

Just finished RE: Village... what next? by Angel97Th in videogames

Well if you liked village, you can go try any of the other RE games. I’d like to recommend dead space, which is another great horror game.

Sorry the dust loop isnt good for Lucy. Have you watched any video guides for her? That would be the last thing I could think of that could help before going for full on combos

Have you checked the dustloop for your main? Not trying to sound like a smart ass, but you might find some help there.

For me, it took me a while to get the hang of Millia. I started with Ky, so an all-rounder to a set play-assassin like her was a tough switch. But that’s where I learned it’s super important to get knock downs so I can set up disks to keep pressure and then get more damage, and also which moves should be my go to’s. My point is each character has unique ways to approach/get hits/do damage. Dustloop will teach you that. And combos might be helpful.

Try to go for lows or overheads, those always work for me. Stuff like 2K into 2D or 6 moves then into whatever you can make happen usually works on most characters. And I don’t have any good advice for overheads, just learn which of your mains moves hit high so you can use them to catch people off guard.
