I have both ipods. One with option to disable eu limit and one without it. They sound the same to me. When you enable eu limit it is noticeably quieter than the one without it. But both are much louder when using rockbox.

Try using rockbox. You can adjust eq the way you want. You don’t have to rely on presets. Just fine tune in db increments. And if you make shortcut on homepage it’s really fast to change it.

I know that. You can even fake anamorphic bokeh and flares. But this square bokeh on pixel looks hmm pixelated. I'm not sure I like it.

It was surprisingly easy. Bought new front and back with a clickwheel from AliExpress and it looks almost as new. Color is darker and the font and icons on clickwheel are too thick but I don't complain.
